Air pressure

Medicion de Presion de AIre
The correct calibration, according to the total incident load on the tire and the position in which it is used in the vehicle (single or dual mounting), allows to obtain the best performance, a higher mileage, the use of the carcass for reforms and a even tire wear.

In this section you will find a table that indicates the correct calibration for each tire measurement, according to its load index.

How to read the Air Pressure Table?

Presion de Aire

Taking the line corresponding to the tire size (295 / 80R22.5) and its respective load index (152/148), we verify what is the correct load per tire mounted on the “dual” line (2,740 kg) and what is the correct load per tire mounted on the “single” line (2,730 kg). Once the correct load in kg is located on the corresponding line, the pressure determined in the upper part of the column as indicated must be used to inflate the tire according to the correct load.

Dual mount for the correct load of 2,740 kg per tire: indicated pressure of 105 lbs.

Simple mounting for the correct load of 2,730 kg per tire: indicated pressure of 90 lbs.
